Bali is a special island in Indonesia, known as the "island of the gods." It's a great place to visit for many reasons.

First, Bali has a lot of coast and beautiful beaches. You can do fun things like surfing at Canggu or Kuta beach, go diving near Amed or Candidasa, or swim at Bingin beach in Uluwatu. If you don't like water activities, you can enjoy a party at Seminyak beach under the stars.

Bali is also famous for its spiritual side. There are over 20,000 temples, and Ubud is a good place to visit some of the oldest and most sacred ones. You can see Gunung Lebah Temple, which is from the 8th century, or go to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary with three temples and over 600 monkeys. In Ubud, you can also watch a traditional Balinese dance show at Ubud Palace. It's a relaxing place, perfect for yoga and forgetting stress, just like in the movie Eat Pray Love.

And if you want to explore more, you can go island-hopping. Nusa Penida, less than an hour away by boat, is famous for its "Instagrammable" Kelingking Beach. For a quieter experience, you can visit Gili Air, a car-free island with beautiful white-sand beaches.
