A new study says that people who work from home are saving time by not traveling to the office, about one hour every day. But instead of using that time for themselves, many are still working. The study looked at workers in 27 countries and found that, on average, people save 72 minutes each day by working from home. In China, workers save 102 minutes, in Japan it's 100 minutes, and in India, it's 99 minutes. However, the study found that, on average, 40% of the saved time is still spent working. In some countries like Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, more than half of the saved time is used for work. About 34% of the time is used for free time, and 11% is spent taking care of family members.
