A big strawberry from Israel is now in a special book. It is the world's heaviest strawberry, weighing 289 grams. Chahi Ariel's family farm grew it near Netanya in Israel in February 2021. They waited a year to know it's the heaviest. The weather was cold, so the strawberry grew slowly and became very big.

The strawberry's called Ilan, a kind that usually grows big. But this one is five times heavier than normal. Ariel kept it in the freezer for a year. It is not as pretty as before, but it made them very happy. They are now in the Guinness World Records. The old record was from Japan in 2015, a strawberry weighing 250 grams.
